Introduction GeoGebra is a free dynamic mathematics software that combines algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. It is the first dynamic mathematics software to integrate algebraic, geometric and spreadsheet view in a single graphical user interface. The GeoGebra Institute of Metro Manila is offering 3 levels of GeoGebra Training. The three are as follows.

Level 1– This training is designed for those who have no or very little knowledge about GeoGebra. The topics that will be discussed in this training are about the following:

using the basic geometric construction tools

basic algebra inputs

creating dynamic applets

uploading applets to blogs and wikis.

Level 2– This training is designed for participants who are familiar with GeoGebra or those who have attended the Level 1 training. The topics that will be discussed are about the following:

intermediate and advanced constructions

mathematical calculations in the input bar and text boxes

transformation tools and special object tools,

animation, dynamic text, and conditional visibility

advanced features of exporting dynamic HTML worksheets.

Level 3– This training is for advanced GeoGebra users. The topics that will be discussed in this training are about the following:

creating interactive applets with text boxes and command buttons

basic javascript programming

sequences and lists

advanced spreadsheet commands

We will be offering a Level 1 training on August 6, 13, and 19, 2011.
